Treasury Wine Estates Inside Sales Manager in Melbourne, Australia

About the role

Reporting to the Head of Sales – Independents & Field Sales, you will be responsible for leading, developing and inspiring our Outbound Sales Team to deliver the National Independent Channel sales plan for Independent retail & On-premise customers.

  • Develop and implement KPIs & key initiatives aligned to our business objectives for the Inside Sales and National Customer Sales teams.

  • Monitor and analyse key sales performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement effective strategies to increase sales and customer satisfaction.

  • Oversee the development and implementation of training programs to enhance the sales and customer service skills of team members.

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key sales stakeholders to ensure we are driving growth for their channels.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, product development, and operations, to ensure alignment of sales strategies with overall business goals.

  • Prepare and present to senior stakeholders to provide updates on sales performance, market trends and strategic initiatives.

About you

We are seeking an enthusiastic and engaging leader who thrives in a fast-paced, target-driven environment. Your grit and determination, ability to build and develop relationships and high levels of creativity set you apart. You will have considerable sales experience in FMCG, a passion for wine would be a bonus too!

  • Demonstrated track record of success in sales roles, preferably in a similar industry or environment.

  • Possess strong business acumen with a deep understanding of industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape.

  • Proven ability to lead and manage teams effectively, fostering collaboration, motivation, and accountability.

  • Exceptional time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

  • Customer-centric mindset, with a keen focus on understanding and meeting customer needs and expectations.

  • Commitment to quality and a proactive approach to addressing issues with a sense of urgency to drive results.
