About the role:

This position works with the winemaking team across multiple luxury brands. Knowledge of a working cellar and winemaking practices is necessary to help ensure efficient and quality workflow. We need someone who is dynamic, outgoing, and willing to jump in and help the team throughout the season.

Main Responsibilities

  • Evaluation of lab data and communication via daily tastings

  • Creation of work orders and instructions

  • Fermentation monitoring

  • Communicating with the cellar, lab, maintenance and winemaking teams

  • Management of pumpover schedules

  • Opportunities to taste fermenters with the winemaking team

  • Special projects

About You

  • You have a BS in a science field or equivalent harvest experience.

  • You have excellent communication skills.

  • You are Computer literate.

  • You have basic math associated with converting units and making calculations.

  • You are a self-motivated, innovative and resourceful problem-solver.

  • You have demonstrate ability to be self-directed and effectively organize and manage multiple tasks with excellent attention to detail.

  • You are positive and enjoy creating and working in an atmosphere that is highly collaborative.

  • You can work a flexible schedule and some weekends.

  • You can lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

Pay Transparency Disclosure: The base pay range offered for this position is $23 to $30 per hour. These figures represent what we reasonably expect to pay for this position, but the actual compensation offered will depend upon numerous job-related factors, including but not limited to candidate qualifications, skills, experience, education, location, and alignment with market data. Our expectation is that the incumbent will work out of St. Helena, CA. If the incumbent works out of another location, the wage rate may fall above or below this range. Treasury reserves the right to modify the range in the future.
